Build Your First CUDA Program
Write and run a CUDA program that uses GPU threads to process numbers, then retrieve and verify the results.
Process Images on the GPU
Build practical CUDA projects that adjust brightness, convert images to grayscale, and apply blur while learning GPU memory.
Understand GPU Performance
Combine parallel calculations and data processing, measure CPU and GPU performance, and understand when GPU acceleration is useful.
About the course
AICC’s partnership with Linuxademy.com brings practical GPU and CUDA education to beginners through eight small, hands-on projects. Start by writing your first CUDA program, then progress to processing arrays, transforming images, calculating totals, and normalizing data. Learn how threads, blocks, and GPU memory work through code you can run and inspect. The course uses CUDA C/C++, NVIDIA GPUs, and Google Colab. Students can follow along with complete code and commands or watch the demonstrations to learn. Linuxademy’s mission is to help people build, understand, and operate independently. This course provides a practical foundation for writing GPU programs and understanding when GPU computing is useful.
